The Lincoln Farmers Market, Tucked Between the Cathedral and the Castle...
Everyone pretty much loves a farmers market, after all what's not to love? The smells, the stalls all filled with colorful and enticing bounty, the variety, the crush of people, the anticipation of what will I get? It's all a bonanza for the senses, a harkening back to our gathering instincts, plus just being there makes you hungry. But a market tucked in between a castle and a cathedral? I'm not sure it gets any better than this, at least not for me.
A feast for the senses, looking toward the Cathedral. |
Stunning photos, love this post. It makes me long to go back to the UK and spend an afternoon in the Bailgate. Missing my home away from home right now! <3
ReplyDeleteWon't be long till we're all back and you and I can cruise the shops along High Street, like we did back in the day. Great memories.
